Toms River, NJ – One Airlifted After Crash With Box Truck on Old Freehold Rd
Toms River, NJ (November 08, 2022) – Local police, fire crews, and a medical helicopter were all dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Ocean County on Friday, November 4th.
The collision took place at about 11:30 a.m. in the area of Wilkinson Street and Old Freehold Road, off New Hampshire Avenue, in Toms River when a box truck T-boned an SUV, pushing it off the roadway and into a utility pole.
Crews on-scene had to use hydraulic rescue tools to cut a trapped victim from the SUV.
The victim’s current condition and the cause of the crash are both unknown at this time.
