Auto Accidents in New Jersey
Walking is one of the most common methods of transportation in New Jersey. Many people find it to be a safe and effective alternative to taking vehicles through busy city roads. Regardless of the number of safety measures instilled throughout the state of New Jersey to protect pedestrians, we continue to see them victimized at an alarming rate. In fact, hundreds of pedestrians are left with critical and life-altering injuries after motor vehicle accidents throughout our state each year. Although we want to believe that other people sharing the road have our best interests in mind, this is not always true. Many victims involved in auto accidents are forced into area hospitals where they have to undergo immediate medical treatment.
The majority of pedestrian accidents in New Jersey are caused by negligent and reckless drivers. Many pedestrians are injured by drivers who are texting or talking on phones, eating, changing their radios, engaging in conversations with others, or conducting various other reckless and negligent actions.
