River Edge, NJ (June 3, 2026) – On Wednesday, June 3, a vehicle sped, jumped a curb, and crashed into a building just after 3 a.m. The crash caused the vehicle to catch on fire and injure two occupants that were inside it. Officials confirmed that the accident took place on Kinderkamack Road.
The impact left a hole in the side of the structure. Four tenants were asleep in the apartments above at the time of the wreck. Three of the four tenants were unharmed. The fourth was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation.
No names or ages were released following the collision. The cause of the crash has not been determined. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is working alongside local police as the investigation continues.
