House Fires in New Jersey
Some of the leading causes of New Jersey house fires, apartment fires, and other domestic structure fires are:
- Faulty appliances
- Defective or improperly installed electrical wiring
- Damaged or incorrectly installed gas lines
- Blocked chimney flues
- Malfunctioning furnaces or boilers
As well as uncovering the cause of the fire, it is also important to learn if the actions of a third party contributed to the fire itself or to a resident’s inability to escape safely.
If a third party is found to have acted negligently, a burn injury victim or their surviving family members could have a legitimate claim against them for their damages or wrongful death.
