East Rutherford, NJ (February 22, 2023) – Four people suffered injuries when a decorative helicopter fell from the ceiling of the American Dream Mall in New Jersey into a swimming pool below. 

The large decoration fell just after 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19. The mall reported that one of the four was transported to the hospital by ambulance. 

At this time, the park is under investigation to ensure all safety rules are being followed within the park, which was evacuated after the incident occurred. 

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
