Little Egg Harbor, NJ – Michelle Ross, Cortney Downey Killed in Head-On Crash on Garden State Pkwy
Little Egg Harbor, NJ (October 25, 2022) – On Saturday, October 22nd, New Jersey State Troopers responded to the scene of a fatal collision on the Garden State Parkway at about 9:20 p.m.
The incident occurred in the southbound lanes near mile marker 59.3 in Litte Egg Harbor Township.
An investigation determined that 50-year-old Michelle L. Ross, a resident of Asheville, NC was driving a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander when she was involved in a head-on collision with a Toyota Corolla being driven by 32-year-old Cortney L. Downey, a resident of Northfield.
The force of the impact caused the Mitsubishi to overturn.
Both drivers were fatally injured. No further details have been released.
