Marlboro, NJ – Two Motorcyclists Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Rt 18 near Rt 520
Marlboro, NJ (July 25, 2023) – Two motorcycles were involved in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Route 18 in Marlboro. The wreck occurred at around 9:30 p.m. on Monday night, July 24, according to information provided by the Marlboro Township Police Department.
Police and paramedics responded to the scene in the northbound lanes of Route 18 near Route 520 after receiving reports concerning the incident. The officers found three motor vehicles and two motorcycles at the scene.
A 2017 Subaru Impreza, a 2008 Mercedes-Benz, and a 2019 Hyundai Tucson, along with a 2001 Yamaha YZF motorcycle and a 2005 Suzuki GSX, were involved in the accident, sources said. Both motorcyclists were pronounced deceased at the scene, according to police reports.
The identities of those involved have not been released at this time. Authorities are still working to determine the circumstances of the accident.
