New Jersey Car Accidents
In the United States, over 40,000 people lose their lives every single year in car crashes. Most car accidents happen because of negligent driving. Especially in the past decade, driver negligence has become a serious and dangerous issue throughout the country. This is most likely because the majority of people cannot go even 10 minutes without looking at their cell phones. Even if they are behind the wheel of a moving vehicle on a busy road, some drivers still feel the need to pull out their phones and stare at the screen. Even if it is for five seconds, they are placing themselves and those around them at serious risk for severe injuries or even death. When a car accident happens because of a negligent driver, anyone who sustains injuries in that accident is eligible for financial compensation. If the worst has happened, and someone has lost their life, their family members can file a wrongful death claim for financial compensation as well.
