Pleasantville, NJ (July 7, 2025) – An early morning crash on the Atlantic City Expressway claimed the life of a young passenger when the vehicle slammed into a concrete barrier and toll reader support structure. The tragic incident happened just before 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Authorities say a 23-year-old woman from Bridgeton was driving eastbound near milepost 4.1 when she lost control of the vehicle.
