Ramsey, NJ – Pedestrian Loses Life in Crash on Rt 17 near Ramsey Outdoor Store

Ramsey, NJ (December 8, 2023) – A pedestrian lost his life in a fatal traffic accident that occurred in Ramsey on December 8. Reports show the wreck occurred on Route 17 near the Ramsey Outdoor store around daybreak. Several emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the accident occurred to render aid. Sadly, the man was pronounced deceased on-site by paramedics. The incident caused a chain reaction of events that closed the highway during the morning rush. Authorities in Ramsey continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
