Multi-Vehicle Crashes in New Jersey

Woodbridge, NJ - Victims Hurt in Vehicle Crash on Jersey Trnpke at I-80In order for a plaintiff to be awarded damages in a wrongful death lawsuit, it must be shown that the defendant breached the duty of care owed to the dead victim.

In wrongful death claims, the standard of negligence is the course of action that a reasonable person would have taken in the same or similar circumstances. This test is used to identify who is responsible for the victim’s death. Due to the fact that a reasonable person in their situation would have exercised more care or caution, it is likely that the respondent will be held responsible for their conduct.

For instance, if a driver was irresponsible and, as a consequence, violated the law, that driver has breached their duty to the deceased individual.

Metro Law’s New Jersey auto accident lawyers assisted the bereaved families of several hundred individuals who died as a result of illegal activities.
