East Windsor Twp, NJ (June 17, 2026) – On Tuesday morning, June 16, a fatal crash took place in East Windsor Township, when a Freightliner tractor-trailer rear-ended a Subary on the New Jersey Turnpike southbound. As a result of the crash, the New Jersey State Police said a child that was in the back seat of the Subaru was killed.

The wreck happened at 1:29 a.m. The Freightliner struck the rear of the Subaru, then continued forward and hit the back of a Volvo box truck. The tractor-trailer then left the roadway and veered left into a guardrail.
