Brooklyn, NY (May 19, 2023) – A pedestrian lost their life in a fatal traffic accident in Brooklyn. The collision happened on the afternoon of May 19 at around 12:50 p.m.
Sources say the accident occurred on South 5th Street near Keap Street. Authorities asked for assistance with traffic control shortly after arriving at the scene.
Police confirmed an individual was struck by a vehicle at the intersection. Their injuries were so severe they ended up losing their life shortly after being taken to the hospital.
At this time, the deceased victim has not been identified. Police are still determining how the crash happened.
