Egg Harbor Township, NJ (August 31, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Egg Harbor Township claimed one woman’s life on Thursday evening. At around 11:20 p.m., on August 26, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Zion Road.

Reports from local authorities show that 62-year-old Cheryl Milburn was walking on Zion Road when she was struck by a motor vehicle near Diamond Drive. The driver of the 2018 Honda Civic, 21-year-old Julezisse Acevedo, was not injured.

Milburn sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Authorities arrived on-site and pronounced the woman deceased. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
