Lakewood, NJ (April 28, 2022) – On Thursday, April 28th, one firefighter was injured while battling a brush fire in the Lakewood area of Ocean County. 

Fire crews responded to the scene at about 8:00 p.m.

One firefighter sustained an injury of unknown severity to his leg. He was transported by EMS to Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus for medical treatment.
