Newark, NJ (August 17, 2021) – On the morning of August 17, one person lost their life in a fatal traffic accident in Newark. The crash was reported to authorities in the area just before 6:00 a.m. 

Reports indicate that the wreck happened when a car collided with the rear-end of a New Jersey Transit bus. The collision occurred for reasons still being investigated by police. 

The person driving the car was killed, according to various sources. There were people present on the bus at the time, and at least five suffered minor injuries.
