Evesham, NJ (November 6, 2023) – Police in Evesham are currently investigating a fatal traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a truck. The incident occurred along Route 73 and took the life of a 19-year-old motorcyclist identified as Tyler Ciabattoni from Marlton.
Reports from authorities show the wreck happened near the intersection with Dutch Road just before 8:00 p.m. on Saturday night, November 4. The teenage motorcyclist was headed north on Route 73 when a truck unexpectedly pulled out onto the road in an effort to turn.
Authorities found the truck made an illegal turn onto Route 73 from Dutch Road. The motorcycle and the truck crashed as the truck was crossing the northbound lanes of the highway in an effort to get to the southbound lanes.
Road markings and signs present at the intersection confirm that left turns are not permitted in the area. Ciabattoni was pronounced deceased on-site, according to reports.
The truck driver and one passenger sustained no injuries in the accident.
Investigations into the circumstances of the accident continue to be carried out by local police.
